Our Purpose

To promote parent education, promote program evaluation and development, provide mutual support and communication among parents and staff, and to advocate on behalf of our children and their special needs.

Membership

PLASE is an organization of parents of special education students, special education teachers, and staff members in the Lincoln-Way area, as well as other interested people from the community who share our interest and purpose.

Parent Workshops

Workshops are scheduled during the school year in order to inform, enlighten, or educate. These workshops will be hosted in our member districts. Meeting dates are as follows for the 2014-2015 school year: Please click on the individual dates for more information on the workshops.

Advisory Planning Committee meetings are open to any Lincoln-Way parent who would like to become an active partner in our brainstorming sessions to address current special education mandates, trends, issues, and concerns that involve our special needs children.
